Our model.

NBHD Soccer is not a vendor that sells programs to schools. We are a community organization that runs pickup games, tournaments, and events across Chicago's South and West sides -- and channels the energy and resources from that community directly into youth programming.

The more you play at our events, the more we work with youth in our communities. Community funds youth. That's the model.

Where we work and why.

We focus exclusively on Chicago's South and West Side neighborhoods because that's where we're from. We are a Latino-led organization with over ten years of roots in these communities. We know the families, the schools, and the real conditions on the ground.

We target schools that already have the infrastructure -- gyms, fields, playgrounds -- so that programming runs on campus and families never face a transportation barrier. Accessibility is built into how we choose partners.

What we're building.

REC 77 is our in-school league model, currently active in two CPS elementary schools with a goal of 12 and beyond. We are building toward that deliberately, with the right partners, not just the available ones.

Our operational pedigree runs deeper than REC 77. We manage full game operations, refereeing, and ground logistics for the summer soccer league at the Rauner Family YMCA, and we volunteer our time and support at the Boys and Girls Club. These relationships reflect the trust we've built in these communities over the past decade.

How it gets funded.

Schools contribute what they can. Corporate partners and community donors fill the gap. A portion of proceeds from NBHD Soccer's own community events goes directly toward school programming. No single source carries the full weight. That's by design.

How it all connects.

Youth is one piece of a larger model.
