Every event we run serves two purposes. It brings the community together and it generates resources that go directly back into youth programming and neighborhood causes. That's the model and it's been working for over ten years.

2026 Calendar.

Annual events.

David Benavidez Memorial Tournament
Our flagship annual event honoring David Benavidez, a community leader and soccer organizer whose passing in 2018 brought Chicago's soccer communities together. Every year the Benavidez family travels to Chicago to participate. 100% of proceeds support local health initiatives. This year's tournament is September 10 at the Rauner Family YMCA.

South and West Side Art Gala
An evening celebrating local artists from Chicago's South and West sides. Proceeds support emerging artists and creative programming in our neighborhoods. This year's gala is June 10.

Women's Tournament
Our annual women's soccer tournament celebrating the Women's Wednesday community. We held our first Women's Tournament in September 2025. 2026 details coming soon.

Summer programming.

World Cup Watch Parties
The 2026 FIFA World Cup runs June 11 through July 19. We are hosting watch parties at Ambassador in Little Italy for the biggest matches of the summer -- Mexico's opener on June 11, USA vs Paraguay on June 12, and the Final on July 19. Come watch with the community.

Beach Soccer
Free community beach soccer at North Avenue Beach. Small fee of $2 to $5 to cover water and food. Running two periods -- May 15 to June 15 and July 15 to August 15 -- with a community social outing at the end of each period.

Friday Socials
Every other Friday after pickup, we head out together. Ambassador in Little Italy, 10PM. Running both beach soccer periods.

Where the money goes.

All the money we raise -- outside of covering costs -- goes to fundraising for our CPS school partnerships. In 2026, we are growing our impact into the schools and neighborhoods that are lacking these resources the most.
